Collection: Lucky Jade

This collection features my first gemstone love- Jade.

I have always loved Jade due to its desirable green color and its symbol of purity and protection. 

The Chinese people have valued Jade for centuries. Using this precious stone for tools, ornaments and especially jewelry. They love Jade not only for its aesthetic appearance but also for what it represents.

It is said by famed Chinese philosopher Confucius that Jade represents 11 virtues- intelligence, music, loyalty, earth, morality, heaven, credibility, propriety, truth, justice and benevolence. 

The Peranakan culture also inspired the art behind this Jade collection. To me, the Jade gem is a graceful, virtuous and exquisite lady who loves flowers and opens the door of prosperity to her family.
